Business Development Executive

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive with a strong background in IT services, particularly in securing and managing international leads. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating business through online portals such as Upwork, Freelancer, and others. This role requires a deep understanding of the tech stack, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create winning proposals and pitches tailored to the needs of prospective clients. You will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of bidders, and achieving monthly sales targets.

Timings: Night Shift (9:00 pm to 6:00 am)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate business through online portals such as Upwork,
    Freelancer, etc.
  • Achieve and exceed minimum monthly targets.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing
    customers through telephone calls, SMS, and emails.
  • Manage a team of bidders, ensuring they meet targets and
    follow best practices.
  • Handle client communication, including negotiating
    contracts and terms with international clients.
  • Develop and implement winning proposals and pitches
    tailored to client needs. Collaborate with sales, leadership, and project delivery teams to secure, retain,
    and grow accounts.
  • Engage with clients, push for sales, and ensure client
    satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, tender
    submissions, and client interactions. Coordinate the handover of secured contracts to the project delivery
    team.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities on
    digital platforms, assess selling possibilities, and evaluate customer needs.

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Proven 3+ years of business development experience on
    Upwork, Freelancer, or similar platforms.
  • Prior experience in a software or web development
    company is an advantage.
  • Experience in handling international clients,
    particularly related to IT services.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of online bidding processes and tools.
  • Sound knowledge of IT terminologies and the latest
    software technologies.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and SEO is a plus.

Other Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in
    English.
  • Ability to engage clients and push them to buy services.
  • Ability to write professional proposals with attractive
    pitching lines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work
    independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet
    deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Web Technologies, Graphic
    Design, and Digital Marketing.
